WV CARES Act Small Business Grant Program
Any West Virginia-based small business, in existence on March 1, 2020, with 1-35 employees, is able to apply for up to $5,000 in grant funding.
Guidelines for the grants and instructions on how to apply are available at Grants.wv.gov.
The application will remain open until Sept. 30, 2020.
Paycheck Protection Program Forgiveness
PPP Application Deadline has closed August 8, 2020.
The U.S. Small Business Administration, in consultation with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, posted a revised, user-friendly Paycheck Protection Program loan forgiveness application implementing the PPP Flexibility Act of 2020.
Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program
On Monday, June 15, the SBA reopened the EIDL portal to allow new applications from eligible small businesses that were not able to apply for the loan/advance program earlier this year. There is no indication of how long the portal will remain open, so it’s important that interested eligible businesses apply as soon as possible. More information can be found at the link below.
